Traffic Study
I did my traffic study on Coleman Avenue,
which runs through Mercer village. I sat outside of the bookstore. I went out
there for 15 minutes to collect the data. I observed 20 different cars that
drove by. As shown by the data, I recorded the number of people, car color,
make, and style of car. Most cars had 1 or 2 people in them and as more cars
drove by, I realized that not many had more than 3 people in the car. As far as
color goes there wasn’t any one color that stood out more than the rest. I did
notice that there were more American manufactured cars that drove by rather
than the foreign made cars such as Toyota or Hyundai. Last, there more larger
vehicles (SUV or Truck) than there were smaller, more efficient cars.
